An Annual Celebration of Craftsmanship and Creativity

As part of NOVAPLAS’s long-term commitment to craftsmanship, precision, and continuous innovation, the “Golden Idea” Innovation Contest is held annually in collaboration with local universities. The initiative reflects NOVAPLAS’s core belief that true innovation comes from the front lines—where ideas are born from curiosity, skill, and hands-on practice.

This contest aims to inspire the next generation of engineers and innovators by providing a platform to explore bold ideas, connect with experienced mentors, and bring creative concepts to life through real-world applications.

Contest Highlights:

Who Can Join: All full-time university students with a passion for design, materials, precision engineering, or product development.

Submission Format: Students submit original creative ideas (maximum 300 words) based on their academic learning or technical practice. Submissions must be authentic, feasible, and capable of further development.

Process:

Annual launch and idea collection (Q1)

Expert review and shortlisting

Mentorship pairing and prototype development

Internal evaluation and award selection

Outstanding projects may advance to external innovation competitions

Awards & Development Support:

Prizes: First, Second, and Third Place awards are granted each year based on creativity, technical potential, and alignment with NOVAPLAS’s focus areas.

Mentorship: Winning students are matched with NOVAPLAS innovation teams and supported in refining and materializing their ideas.

Recognition: Certificates are awarded to individuals and departments. Select winners may be offered internship opportunities or long-term project cooperation.
