Provincial People’s Congress Research Delegation Visits NOVAPLAS
On February 21, 2019, a legislative research delegation from the Standing Committee of the Provincial People’s Congress, led by Mr. Wang Lasheng, Director of the Legal Affairs Committee, and Ms. Cao Yumei, Deputy Director of the Provincial Department of Education, visited NOVAPLAS Technology (formerly Jiangyin Nopp Machinery) for an official inspection.
The delegation was accompanied by Mr. Gong Zhendong, Deputy Director of the Jiangyin Municipal People’s Congress Standing Committee, and Mr. Zou Fengxiang, Deputy Director of the Jiangyin Municipal Education Bureau.
During the visit, the NOVAPLAS management team provided a comprehensive briefing on the company’s current operations, growth trajectory, and ongoing school-enterprise collaboration initiatives. The delegation also toured the NOVAPLAS School-Enterprise Cooperation Project site, where they engaged in in-depth discussions and offered constructive insights on future development strategies.
The research group emphasized the strategic importance of strengthening industry-education integration, recommending that the local government prioritize school-enterprise cooperation, increase investment in cooperative education, and accelerate the consolidation of vocational education resources. They also encouraged greater policy support for NOVAPLAS to create a business environment that fosters sustainable innovation and development.
